DELTA MU COLONY

ABOUT US
Lambda Chi Alpha was established at Boston University in November 1909 by Warren A. Cole, Percival C. morse and Clyde K. Nichols making it one of the youngest major fraternities in the United States. With more than 280,000 lifetime members, Lambda Chi is one of the largest fraternities in North America. In 1972, Lambda Chi officially abolished pledging in favor of associate membership and took a hard stance on abolishing hazing.
Delta Mu Zeta was initially colonized at Texas A&M University in the Spring of 1976, but a charter was never issued. A second, successful colonization attempt was made in the Fall of 1990 and the Zeta grew and prospered until it was closed in 2010. After an almost 10 year hiatus, the colony returned to Texas A&M in Spring 2019 and looks to have a bright future for many years to come.
